From the question to the approved wiki page
A department — sales, customer service, production or assembly — asks a question. The AI assistant searches the department wiki and formulates a draft answer from it.
The draft is submitted to the responsible employees for approval. Only after their review is the answer returned to the asking department.
The same answer is saved as new knowledge in the department wiki — standards and guidelines, components and assemblies, design knowledge, approved answers. Every answered question makes the next cycle shorter.

This is exactly what sets it apart from off-the-shelf AI assistants: they lack the connection to your company knowledge. Quellwerk KI closes this gap.
The process is always the same: ask a question → receive an answer → a wiki page is created from it. Whatever has been answered once, no one has to research a second time.
The knowledge is available as interconnected wiki pages, not as a pile of files — with semantic search across the entire collection.
If a question cannot be answered from the existing collection, it is forwarded to the responsible expert at the push of a button. The AI suggests a draft answer — it is reviewed and approved by a human.
The approved answer is returned to the asking department and, at the same time, saved as new knowledge.
Access to knowledge is governed by roles and enforced by the software — not by file permissions on a network drive. The AI works only with the content that is released for the logged-in person.
It is never allowed to delete anything.
Knowledge in Quellwerk KI is never deleted, but marked as outdated and, if available, given a reference to the successor document. If a page refers to obsolete content, the system reports the affected passages and assists with the revision.
General conditions such as legislative changes or funding programs are maintained as separate compliance pages and linked to projects and customers — if a rule changes, the affected entries are reported automatically.
Office 365 is connected as a data source (email and calendar), existing data can be imported, and additional systems can be integrated on request.
When it comes to AI operation, you have the choice: established cloud models or a self-hosted model — on your premises, at ours, or with a hosting provider of your choice. The backend can also run at our site or yours.
